.....while at his or her assigned duty station. This paragraph does not apply if—
.(1) The seat at the crewmember's station is not equipped with a shoulder

.(2) The crewmember would be unable to perform required duties with the

The question is valid and it should be in the Private Pilot Data Bank due to the majority of the planes flown have shoulder harnesses. Takeoffs and landings is the most correct answer!

This is a trick question that should be on a private exam. private pilots don't have a crew. I agree with correct answer on commercial exams. Rocky
