When an alteration of an approved parachute is unavailable from the manufacturer, a qualified person shall seek approval by:
| | A) Submitting modification information to the parachute manufacturing Association. |
| | B) Executing an FAA Form 337 with a complete documentation of the alteration. |
| * | C) Make an application in letter form to the local Flight Standards District Office (FSDO). |
