An airplane may be operated in uncontrolled airspace at night below 1,200 feet above the surface under the following conditions:
| * | A) Less than 3 miles but more than 1 mile visibility in an airport traffic pattern and within one-half mile of the runway. |
| | B) Clear of clouds and 1 mile visibility. |
| | C) Clear of clouds and 3 miles visibility. |
