A private pilot with an airplane single-engine land rating may act as pilot in command of an airplane towing a glider if, within the preceding 12 months, this pilot has made
| | A) at least six flights as pilot in command of an airplane towing a glider. |
| | B) ten actual or simulated glider tows. |
| * | C) three flights as pilot in command of a glider towed by an aircraft. |
