A student pilot may not operate a balloon in solo flight unless that pilot has
| * | A) received and logged flight training from an authorized instructor and demonstrated satisfactory proficiency and safety on the required maneuvers and procedures. |
| | B) made and logged at least 10 balloon flights under the supervision of an authorized instructor. |
| | C) received a minimum of 5 hours of flight training in a balloon from an authorized instructor. |
